Interzoo is organised by WZF – Pet industry Services, a fully-owned business entity of ZZF, the leading German Pet Trade & Industry Association (ZZF). 

History & Success Story

Interzoo is the leading international trade fair for pet supplies. In 1950, the idea of holding a national trade show named “Zoobörse” was born at the annual meeting of the ZZF (German Pet Trade & Industry Association). Since 1968, the trade fair has been operating with an international focus under the name “Interzoo”.

At the 38th edition of Interzoo (7 – 10 May 2024) 2,146 manufacturers, wholesalers, and service providers from 68 countries showcased the trends in the pet supplies industry over a four-day event. Around 37,000 visitors attended the fair to find out about the latest nutrition and grooming products, accessories and services for pets.

The "Product Showcase" and "Start-up Area" at the heart of the trade fair action, featuring subsidised stands for young German and international companies, proved immensely popular. As part of the "Fresh Ideas Contest" innovative companies could present themselves on a dedicated platform. Informative country sessions on various domestic markets in the pet supplies industry and networking events like the Interzoo Party provided a fitting complement to the Interzoo 2024 supporting programme.
