Hardys Manufaktur was founded in 2013 by HelgaFrambach with the idea of producing high-quality and natural dog food - and later also cat food - in food quality. The starting point was the decades-long life of the Frambach family with their Airedale Terriers, as well as the family‘s special demands on their own nutrition.

As there was no natural dog food on the market that met her requirements, Helga Frambach started cooking for the family dogs herself.

A vision of natural, food-grade dogand cat food

This is how Helga Frambach came up with the idea of founding her own company for the production of natural dog food with Hardys - and thus taking on a new professional challenge. Thanks to various further training courses and her intensive study of the topic of natural dog and cat food, Helga Frambach developed into a nutritionist in this field.

Natural pet food –at Hardys already in the 2nd generation

In the meantime, the next generation, with the siblings Mareike and Jan Frambach, is taking over the management of the family business at Hardys.

Today, Hardys‘ „pack“ also includes the Weimaranerbitches Tilda and Greta, retro pug Fritz, the cats Minerva and Poppy and tomcat Sirius, who of course are fed Hardys cat and dog food.

But who is actually Hardy?

With the name of our first line of dog food, Hardys Traum (Hardy‘s Dream), we created the natural, premium foodquality that Hardy dreamed of back then and that Hardys dog food and Love Affair cat food still stands for today.
