About us
Macahl Animal Health is a family business based in Northern Ireland, established in 2006 by John and Anthony Mackle. Initially, the company started as JAM Animal Health, and in 2015 Macahl Animal Health was formed to manage the manufacturing, distribution, marketing, and technical support for our veterinary product range.
The company initially developed innovative Oral Rehydration Solutions (ORS) to support dogs and cats experiencing gastrointestinal (GI) upset. The first isotonic drink was created after working with an expert in pet nutrition and product development, with experience in the human sports drinks sector.
