Interzoo sponsors the PetQuip Awards 2024
The world's leading trade fair for the international pet industry announces its sponsorship of the PetQuip Awards 2024. Interzoo will be the exclusive sponsor of the award category "most promising starter business", which recognises the most promising start-up company out of 18 nominees. The winners will be announced at the PetQuip Awards Dinner on 30 September 2024 at PATS Telford.
Interzoo's sponsorship of the PetQuip Awards in the "most promising starter business" category emphasises the commitment of the pet industry's leading trade fair to promote innovation. Interzoo itself offers companies in the pet sector the ideal platform for presenting innovative products and concepts. This is demonstrated not least by the exhibitors' stand designs and the large number of new products that exhibitors from all over the world present to the international trade visitors at Interzoo every two years. In addition, innovations and trends are presented in the special areas and in distinctive Interzoo event formats, including the Fresh Ideas Stage, the Interzoo Sustainability Session and the Start-up Area whose recent edition in May 2024 featured a total of 77 innovative companies.
"We are delighted to support an initiative such as the PetQuip Awards 2024 that celebrates innovative achievements for the industry. Ultimately, the networking of the industry and the promotion of innovative approaches also benefits pets. We are therefore very pleased to be able to make a further contribution to these efforts even beyond our own event," says Dr Rowena Arzt, Head of Exhibitions at Interzoo organizer WZF GmbH, who also emphasises PetQuip's long-standing close connection with the world's leading trade fair Interzoo: "The UK national pavilion organised by PetQuip was the first national joint pavilion at an Interzoo in 1964 and provides British products and innovations with an international stage."
For years, exhibitors and visitors from the UK have shown great interest in Interzoo. Almost four per cent of all visitors to Interzoo 2024 came from the UK. On the exhibitor side, the United Kingdom and Northern Ireland was one of the larger country participations from abroad, with a total of around 100 exhibitors. There were 47 exhibitors in the pavilion organised by Pet Quip alone.
